Information for your visit

Information on discounts and family tickets:

• Discounts apply to pupils, trainees, students, people with disabilities, recipients of unemployment benefits (ALG II), and volunteers – each with valid identification.
• Family ticket: Two adults with children aged 7–17.
• Children up to and including 6 years of age are admitted free of charge.

Please note

Children under the age of 6 are not permitted to ride in the globe. People with health risks (cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia) are advised not to take a ride in the globe.

Dogs and bicycles are not allowed in the Baroque Garden area.

Arrival

The Globe House and the Baroque Garden are located near Gottorp Slot (about an 800-metre walk). Please use the free parking spaces available there.

Accessibility

The Gottorf Globe and Baroque Garden are about an 800-metre walk from the Schleswig Museum Island. The route also includes sandy paths with a slight incline. If you have detailed questions regarding accessibility before your visit, please feel free to contact our service team.
